Re: Spotted today.
Dad followed a traveller today.
the curious thing about this one was that it was 'N' reg (i.e. 1974)
any ideas as to why this would be?
think the reg was RDC174N

Re: Spotted today.
At that time (up until the early eighties if my memory serves me right) cars that were re-registered got plates from that date. So if the car was re-imported etc. it would get a new number plate at the time of re-registration.

More likely it was ex-services. When they were no longer required they were sold and had to be re-registered as they would previously been issued with a military plate of some description.

Haven't spotted any Minors since you all went back to Blighty;chrisryder wrote:morrisminorbzh wrote: hope your local clubs monthly meet went well yesterday. traffic everywhere was dreadful! serves us right for travelling accross Normandy on d-day weekend!
Our local club's Sunday morning monthly meeting went Ok, fewer cars than usual due du rain and thunder storm - one chap turned up dispite that on a superb Norton.[frame][/frame]
Yes, you fell foul of the return home after a French log-weekend - If you were on the A13 that motorway is a pain !!!

I saw a green A-reg traveller in Northampton at the cock a doodle diddley hotel junction in Kingsthorpe this afternoon, I was mith my dad in his BMW so no waves but I think it was the same car I waved at a year or so ago at the same junction!
My sister's boyfriend also told me last week he saw a minor police car parked up in the local village of Scaldwell. Anybody's?

I spotted 2 minors on the A1 this morning, travelling North-bound in my blue 2-door I overtook a blue G-reg traveller (waves exchanged ) and also later saw a bright yellow pick-up with a trailer going the other way.
