Dad followed a traveller today.
the curious thing about this one was that it was 'N' reg (i.e. 1974) :o
any ideas as to why this would be?
think the reg was RDC174N

At that time (up until the early eighties if my memory serves me right) cars that were re-registered got plates from that date. So if the car was re-imported etc. it would get a new number plate at the time of re-registration.

More likely it was ex-services. When they were no longer required they were sold and had to be re-registered as they would previously been issued with a military plate of some description.

Haven't spotted any Minors since you all went back to Blighty;
Our local club's Sunday morning monthly meeting went Ok, fewer cars than usual due du rain and thunder storm - one chap turned up dispite that on a superb Norton.[frame]Image[/frame]
Yes, you fell foul of the return home after a French log-weekend - If you were on the A13 that motorway is a pain !!!

I saw a green A-reg traveller in Northampton at the cock a doodle diddley hotel junction in Kingsthorpe this afternoon, I was mith my dad in his BMW so no waves but I think it was the same car I waved at a year or so ago at the same junction!
My sister's boyfriend also told me last week he saw a minor police car parked up in the local village of Scaldwell. Anybody's?

I spotted 2 minors on the A1 this morning, travelling North-bound in my blue 2-door I overtook a blue G-reg traveller (waves exchanged :) ) and also later saw a bright yellow pick-up with a trailer going the other way.

Lovely trafalgar blue 2dr in Morrison's car park in Hatherley, Cheltenham.

Owner happy to let me have its body number - original engine in there too!!
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!
