early i think. aren't later ones 9/16ths?

i've no idea where you can get seal kits for either!

just to correct myself, later ones are actually 13/16ths.

Dont the normal sellers supply them? I imagine they would all be much the same

Generally felt to be 'unwise' to fit new seals - the bore is often badly rusted in the area where the seals don't run. Just get a new cylinder and be sure it will be reliable (and safe!) for many years to come.......

as bm says the bores are usually damaged and when you bleed the brakes the n ew rubbers are pushed onto the damaged area and they then get damaged and fail very soon afterwards put a new cylinder in the hard work is getting the cylinder out so why take the chance

on the subject of m/c removal can someone please remind me of the how to .Ive looked thru all my paperwork and cant find it .I know there are some special tricks needed cheers
