Split screen steering wheel loose..advice please

Ok..my steering wheel on my 1952 Morris is becoming loose,now I think I need to remove the horn push to get to the nut...never done this beforehand and don't want to break clips ect..do I just prize it off...thanks in advance

There is a single screw on the boss
Just look directly under the bottom of the M. It's there on the boss, unscrew this and hey presto, horn push in hand.

Sorted..thank you....that nut was bloody big..had to improvise..lol

There is no M on a split screen steering wheel horn push. I use a box spanner to tighten or remove the centre nut. To avoid annoying the neighbours you should remove the fuse or disconnect the battery when removing the steering wheel.

I have a fantastic deep twin horn...and this afternoon whilst doing this job I let all the neibours listen to it!

Plain brown bakelite with a chrome ring! This one cleaned up nicely with some brasso.
