Next doors Moggy likes my Moggy
I keep my recently acquired convertible in one of those folding perambulator garage / cover type things.
Problem is next doors cat creeps underneath & sleeps in or on the car. I've cat hairs all over the hood & I'm worried that the cat is going to start clawing & scratching it. Any suggestions for keeping the cat away ?

A Dog or a shotgun....or a dog WITH a shotgun!!
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

Oh come on POMMReg that's a bit harsh! Maybe better to peg down the cover so there are no cat sized gaps underneath.

lion dung keeps them away

Those lions can play hell with your hood!

Well my dogs keep the cat out of my back garden, but away from the car ! No they head straight for the golf course to nick golf balls. A shotgun seems a bit drastic, but may come in handy when I go to collect the lion dung. Just remind me where there is a pride of lions in Suffolk. The cover is pegged down but still leaves cat sized gaps around the edges.

Try a pint or two of your own after you have been to the local pub and spray it round the base on the ground round your cover. It works in my garden. You are marking your territory like they do.

Catwatch, battery or mains.
Sonic waves keep em away, tried and tested in my garden.
The only cat that ignored it turned out to be deaf.
Available at all good garden centres.

In desperation I bottle my own then pour it around my raised beds and it keeps the cats away. `I keep a water pistol by the back door. Next door has installed an electric fence and the fox leaves his hens alone. But if cats enter the garage that will be war...

Maybe I'm in the wrong club, as I like cats, after reading this to say you lot hate them would be an understatement.
