Insurance quotes.
So I received my renewal quote from Footman James through the post a couple of days ago indicating that my insurance was going to increase from £88 per year fully comp with a £2500 agreed value to £120 per year with the same agreed value. The reason stated was changes to MY circumstances even though I have never contacted FJ to indicate any change in MY circumstances.
So back on line and yet again filled out all the drop boxes with correct and honest information non of which have changed from last year except I wished a higher agreed value due to having the moggie painted/new interior etc.
New quote from same company............
£78 per year!!! Whats that all about? So much for customer loyalty.

Re: Insurance quotes.
Make SURE it includes Roadside & Recovery as part of the package. Many are finding RH Insurance to be a better deal these days.

Re: Insurance quotes.
I will second that! Whoever else you go to, make sure you get a quote from RH insurance.

Re: Insurance quotes.
Before I got my Minor van I used to have an A35 van for 15 years insured with RH then I sold that to get my Minor van and when I phoned them to insure the Morris Minor van they had never heard of a Morris Minor van so I went else where.

Re: Insurance quotes.
Your circumstances have changed as far as they are concerned.
You are now at the end of your agreed insurance period and they hope you have taken your eye off the ball.
Luckily, you have not.

Re: Insurance quotes.
We renewed with Adrian Flux and it was £90 cheaper than Footman James .
Re: Insurance quotes.
As some other members have said, my Footman James renewal letter came the other day.
£147. 34p for the same cover as the previous year which was only £70.
I went online and got it for £75. So you need to shop around to get the best deal for yourself.

Re: Insurance quotes.
Who with 'online' ? Is it Classic car insurance, and does it include Roadside and Recovery?
Re: Insurance quotes.
Just Classic Insurance with no breakdown cover.
I received an email from Footman James with this years premium the £147, I did a new online quote and got
cover with them for £75. Very strange.

Re: Insurance quotes.
That higher quote from FJ is called customer loyalty reward . I get the same every year for my modern so I tell them I got a quote somewhere else cheaper and they reduce it to match now that's what I call customer loyalty
