Sorry not a moggie update im afraid!

No updates im afraid. Been far to busy with other things and can't see anything changing for a couple more weeks. By partners bought a flat which we've done up and moved into. Has been alot of work including fitting a new kitchen. The removal van crashed into us on the way aswell. Had really bad whiplash and a headache for a week so had a week off. My land rover needs a replacement front axle. Hoping to find one next week. Changed the head gasket on my new bangernomics special corsa. As my father works away now I'm having to do his bits and bobs for him.

Will hopefully get back to the moggie in the next few weeks. I'm dying to crack on with it. Iv been given a spare engine and box for it aswell from a kind member of the other forum. He was glad he didn't have to scrap it as he needs the room for a new motorbike. Such a nice chap could of spent all afternoon at his house.[frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame]

Well 1st day bac doing anything on the moggie for a long time. We're all ill atm but I had to get out the house today. Iv bolted the heater back in and made up some new heater hoses. I bought 5m of reinforced fuel hose in half inch which worked really well for the heater hoses. Filled it up with antifreeze and water. Was just running it up to temperature and it cut out. Pulled fuel pipe and loads of fuel came pouring out. Pulled the dizzy cap off and only had a tiny spark on the points, popped it with a screwdriver and the sparks better but still wouldn't start. Will look into it properly another time. Had enough for today so I pulled it back in with the starter motor. So feel like iv ended on a downer but I haven't really.

Just put the windscreen back in. Was abit tricky but I managed it. Had to do some levering with screwdrivers. Wasnt to bad tho the screen kept moving to begin with whilst pulling the paracord. Chrome was a little tricky aswell and I damaged a corner slightly but its all in. Hopefully it won't leak.

Just ordered the roof gutters and window channels. Didnt go for the stainless steel ones but can always change them in the future. Ordered them from Woolies trim as reccomended. We're also cheaper.

I fitted a weather strip to the drivers door aswell. Unravelled the front headlining and it'll look good once tensioned. Gonna try and make the car watertight next. Then il sort the electrics out. Will do the internal rustproofing and the interior can go back then. Small steps but its coming together.

All the glass is in now. Iv tacked the roof down and fitted the seal. Which was tricky on my own to start with. I will be attempting the gutters tomorrow. I'm ignoring the interior for now and want to concentrate on getting it through an mot. Then it should be more relaxing.
