Time for antifreeze and found this.
Seems cheap and almost too good to be true. Any comments, folks ?

If it seems to be too good to be true ----------
Seriously I would be guided by it's colour, if it is red , pink or orange I wouldn't put in a Minor,
General advice it to use Bluecol or Blue star 50/50 mix with de-ionised water. Cheap enough
at motor factors, change it after 2 years.

Yes to bluecol or 'ethylene glycol', usually blue in colour, it's what our cars had all their lives from new. Better to remove the thermostat, put heater to 'hot' and run a hosepipe through to flush it out thoroughly, open block and radiator drain taps then replace thermostat and refill with antifreeze and water 50:50. Also if you live in hard water or scaly water district use rainwater to fill. This I do with all my classics every 2/3 years and never have any cooling problems, plus I get a hot heater.

Well one of the customer reviews listed says:Edward1949 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 27, 2018 1:31 pm https://www.holden.co.uk/displayproduct ... de=080.861

Worth noting that this product is put in neat, without any dilution, and Cooling System Capacity of a Moggie is between 6 and 8 Ltrs depending on your car.I chose it because it was recommended by the MG owners club for use in an MGA.

So you'd need a couple of containers.
I note Holden price is ex VAT, so it's actually 19.34 plus shipping.
Looking on eBay, https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_odkw ... e&_sacat=0
There's a few places doing it, at the £20-24 mark.
Demon Tweeks seem to have it in a grey container with a slightly different label, but I guess someone could have older images of the same product. Descriptions seem to be the same. It is Pink though....
