Had it been for sale before somewhere else? It looks pretty crispy - although fairly complete. Another optimist with a high reserve?
He also has 3 travellers listed for sale and they look even worse :(

The seller was canvassing opinions regarding its potential value on a Facebook group last week.

It looks fairly complete and original but a bit crispy.

There were a range of values suggested for it, ranging from "whatever someone will pay for it" to the optimistic " ask £5000 for it" interested to watch and see what it makes.

The Lowlight caught my eye too, however if it looks this tired on top you can only imagine what it is like underneath. :(
Busy collecting parts for my '52 MM Convertible and 1949 Saloon restorations. :o

Does not show on DVLA Vehicle check so no value to number. Original Oxford number as well from late 49 early 50. I had OWL on a Oct 49 Tourer several years back.

The highest bid on ebay was £1600 but the reserve wasn't met. Seemingly it did find a new home because it is now for sale on ebay again in Derby (was Shropshire before I think?) at a 99p start and no reserve......
MUCH better pictures show further rust but a fairly complete car. Seller claims it to be a 1948 but the registration number is later.....
Did anyone ask for the chassis number?
The new owner has obviously realised that the restoration is too big a job for him. At least he hadn't taken it all to bits first.......
Hopefully somebody will buy it this time and make a proper job restoring it :)

This new set of photos is certainly more revealing than the previous ones. Definitely looks like a big job, but it seems straight and importantly, not messed around with. Hopefully someone will take it on and bring it back to life. Would be a shame to see it broken for spares.
