Hi,
I have removed whole of left side suspension as need to do bushes and wheel bearing. Will be doing right side as well.
I plan to clean all up and paint. Any ideas best paint to use for back plate and drum, I'm guessing both have to painted with heat resistant paint??
Thanks
Rob

Re: PAINTING BRAKES
The back plates do not need to have heat resisting paint but you could apply it to the drums.
Plenty of heat resisting paint in various colours on 'e' bay.

I can tell you from experience the cheap and widely available "e-tech" engine/brake paints do not stay on the drums for long.
68' 4-door Saloon, another 'Monty'.
