Hi all,
Does anyone have any information on how to date the body number of an MM? I’m interested to see how the body number dates in relationship to the registration date.
I have done a few searches but haven’t found much out.
Thanks
Tommy

If you purchase a heritage certificate from the motor museum at Gaydon, then that will tell you the build date and despatch date plus a host of other interesting information.

Thanks John
I’ve looked at that info before, it’s a fantastic site full of info. I’ve never seen a list of body numbers with the dates they were coming through the factory though. I wonder if such a thing even exists.
I suppose a heritage certificate is the way forward really as that will give me what I want, although it will have to wait as £45 is better spent on the car at the moment!
