rear wheel cylinders,

Post by midget »

Is there any difference in physical size between the rear wheel brake cylinders of early and late minors please?
I am rebuilding a 1960 4 door, and having problems with fitting new later cylinders to the original axle.
As they are all 7" at rear, I thought that they would be identical?

There is certainly a difference in the cylinder bore size: 7/8" bore (1948-1962) and 3/4" bore (1962-1971).

Not sure about the actual body being changed though...
