Hi Paul
Try keeping to 40mph. But most importantly change down to prevent any strain on engine.
In one week check torque of cyl. head bolts/nuts and adjust valve clearances. Drain oil and filter at 500 miles, again check for torque and all auxcillaries ( wheres the spell-checker?). V belt tension, ign.timing-etc; Slowly increase top speed in increments of 5mph. To 800-1,000 miles.
It pays in the long term to gently, gently attitude.........Cheers......Ivor

Print a large sign to go in the back window of your vehicle saying:

RUNNING IN PLEASE PASS

You will then feel a lot happier keeping to a low speed.
