Website Rally- My three pics attached

Post by RogerRust »

Well I hope you don’t mind me changing my mind, but today I found what I hope is a little Gem of a museum.

So the plan is,

Just turn up no need to book!

Saturday 6th October

10.00 Meet at Milton Ernest Garden Centre Just off the A6 5miles north of Bedford. They have offered us the top of the car park by the road.

Milton Ernest Garden Centre
RADWELL ROAD
MILTON ERNEST
BEDFORD MK441SH
Meet up have a cup of tea and breakfast.

11.30 Travel 4 miles and back in time 60 years to the Twinwoods Airfield museum and the Glen Miller Museum.

Control Tower

Aviation

Military Transport

The Axis and the German Bunker

WWII Fire Service

15.00 Scenic drive through North Beds villages and over the stone bridges.

16.00 Picnic by the river if the weather is nice.

or retire to local public house for a shandy if the weather is poor!

Thanks for your support

Roger.

Hi

Count me in please. Is your good lady going Bill?

Will you need the £7 now?

Might be worth booking a table for lunch at Harrold Park.

Thanks for organising this.

:-? Make or Break Time. If there aren't more than 12 people who want to come it won't be worth it because usually some drop out!

Don't forget the Queen of the Teapot.....Lou. She has to be there!

And Judge....Leslie too? Synchronising

Count me in for camping please. My £7 should have read £8

Car running beautifully after a very thorough job on engine and gearbox [and the servicing that I should have done] by JLH Minor Restorations. I've seen them at work and they are perfectionists in my opinion. Taking time to explain work needed now and in future too. Very helpful team. Just thought I'd share a good experience.

See some of you at the rally.

Hi Roger,
I've pencilled it in my diary (my imaginary one) and will be joining.
Not sure if the Pick Up will be back on the road by then as it's going to be a few weeks before my garage is vacated (it's still got a squatter).
