Here is a useful tip to save you the cost of a Heritage Cert. Book yourself into the "Reading Room" at Gaydon and write down all the details you want for your car for free

You can certainly get the details from the archive, but if you need the paperwork (e.g. for V765 scheme re-registering) then you'll still need official documents.

Write down all the details etc, enter them on your computer and produce your own certificate

Lou lives close by and Jono is even nearer..... I'm hardly ever anywhere near Gaydon except maybe once a week

You need chassis number to search on - Gaydon don't have reg numbers as these weren't allocated until they were sold by the dealers...
