thickness of aluminum Panels

Post by andy34 »

Hi

can anyone help. I am currently trying to restore a Morris Traveller 1964 and have various different thicknesses of the aluminum panels and am really confused.

Does anyone have the correct thickness so that i can continue with my project

many thanks

You can always contact one of the specialists who sell the replacement panels.

As far as I know 16g is the correct thickenss. Its what I always use anyway. You can get away with less, but its very easy to dent and distort when tightening up the screws, and vulnerable to damage especially on the back doors.
