iv been checking the rear wing alot whilst welding and have made sure its going to fit well, reguarding buying new panels i have litterally no money coming in so this is the only way as i know a friend who gets me metal from a yard for free. unless someone would like to donate some panels :D this is my only option and my welder isnt working very well hence the sh*twelds

Sorry I did not plan to take a dig at you or your circumstances. Just dont bodge something for the sake of the money as the repucussions could be far worse than you imagined.

Looks like an interesting restoration. Bit by bit is the best way. How is it going at the moment? Do you have any plans after making it structurally OK (welds etc.)?
Steve

Just J-j-j-jiggle it a bit.

progress is a bit slow atm college work and rubbish weather doesnt go well with fixing cars! i did manage to give the floor a good paint today so that parts almost finished now! im planning to repaint it once all the welding is done in matte black again or maybe gloss im not sure yet :) may go for an engine change in a few years or just restore it back to police form and rover v8 power a different mog :)

Patrick
Are you planning to use big washers and large self tappers for your wing fixings rather than captive nuts ?
