1965 2dr saloon Restoration
I have just purchased a 1965 2dr saloon moggie that is in a very sad way it is my first project so any points that may help me are more than welcome lol[frame][/frame]

Once i get it stripped down then i will roll it on its side to see what the damage is then i will photograph it and probable cry for help lol[frame][/frame]

As you can see it has the 1300 marina engine in it at the moment but that is coming out and a 1000cc put back in as i want to restore it as original as poss[frame][/frame]

great, replacing the 1098cc will make it sound like a minor again, great setting behind the car, you can almost breath in the clean open air

Looks like all the usual rust places but what is that driveshaft? I have never seen a two piece shaft on a Minor.

the propshaft is from a marina i have gearbox and prop for sale £50

If you run the 1275 on a Minor manifold, carb + exhaust, it will still sound like a Minor and go much better than a 1098...
