Underfloor photos
I must be going mad - I thought I had posted this request already Basically I would love to see any pictures people have of their saloon underfloors - it's to help me get EXACT positions of the fuel line, brake lines (especially bends) and wiring loom.
Many thanks

Re: Underfloor photos
Don't know how much these will help, but I did snap a couple with my phone while under the car this past weekend:
The first is looking forward on the driver's side (in your country -- in mine it's the passenger's side):
This next one is looking back -- I've crudely cut out the blazing sun background so you can see it better:
If you still have the metal clips under yours you can't go far wrong simply following those, although there's a wholly unused set along one side on my car.

Re: Underfloor photos
Alastair your not going mad ! you asked me for some pics when you very kindly let me have the repair panel - Ive got 2 pics with the gear box cover removed - here they are
the first one is of the passenger side of the car and you can hopefully see where the FUEL PIPE goes over the gearbox cross member - the fuel pipe has a rubber piece of tube over it to stop it chaffing etc - (a good tip i feel)

Re: Underfloor photos
the 2nd one is of the drivers side and shows where the brake pipe comes out of the side of the master cylinder and goes to the front brake union t piece -again its got a piece of rubber over to protect it where it goes over the gearbox cross member but in the pic i've removed it
the rear brake pipe comes out of the back of the master cylinder and stays in the chassis leg
the wiring loom is also on the drivers side - again you can hopefully see it just below the right of the back of the master - again it has a protective plastic or rubber sleeve over it
i can take more pics but the underside is covered in oil (stopped some rust !) plus its raining and the cars lives outside !
very best regards

Hi,
The exhaust exits in the original place, i just unbolted the rear piece while i was mounting the shock
absorber's. It has a 1 1/2 inch bore, the 948 is slightly worked
