I'm sure this subject has been talked to death, but please help.
I understand the Footman James do not insure modified minors, if that's true, could I ask for advice on who would be the best company to approach
Any help from you guys would be appreciated
Thanks
Graham

Re: Insurance
Hi,
After being with Adrian Flux for a few years I was recommended RH Insurance.
RH Insurance was slightly cheaper AND they had far more extras included (eg. foreign breakdown/recovery) at no extra cost.
I intend to stick with them for a while!

Re: Insurance
how modified is modified?
i'm with FJ and mine has discs, alloys, 5 speed, big exhaust, big carb, K&N filter etc.
Interestingly when i fitted the 5 speed, i rang them to let them know. No additional premium.
When i fitted the discs, i rang them to let them know. No additional premium.
Planning to fit a 1275 head onto 1098, i rang them to let them to see if it would affect anything. No additional premium.
you should still always tell them what you've got/done, even if you don't think it'll affect your premium. don't give them an excuse to wriggle out of paying out!

Re: Insurance
By the sounds of it, ask footman, first, then RH if they don't cover you. I'm with RH and my traveller is heavily modified, but all mods declared and agreed value of £15000.
good luck
James

Let us know how it goes? Was reading a little into this and wondered how easy it was & what the performance gains were like, did you buy a new head?
