Paint
Hi,
Just getting back to do the morris after taking time out to rebuild the crashed bike I have been quoted anything upto £60 per litre for cellulose paint. I know london minors are doing an offer of 5 ltrs for £100 but they refuse to ship it to me, so does anyone know of a company that will ship paint for reasonable prices.
Cheers
Martyn

While on the subject of paint....
It'll be a while before I'm up to the point of re-spraying but..... how much paint and thinners whill it take to do a total re-spray on a traveller.
I'm planning to do the spraying before I put the wings and the rear section back on and I'm changing the colour so I'll do the inside at the same time.
Any suggestions?

If it's any help, I used a total of 7.5 litres of top coat on a Pick-up. That's everything inside and out. One thing I would say, and it's this; buy it all at the same time, I underestimated the amount originally and the second batch was a different shade. Believe me, spoils a lot of hard work. I intend to buy 10 litres next time.

Scotts of Sidcup have just mixed me a litre of colour matched
'lacquer' (apparently they are not allowed to call it cellulose any
more)!! , and charged me £20 which I thought was very reasonable.
Always buy enough to leave some over for puttting into one of
those little tins with a brush built it for touching up the inevitable
chips and dings. If you have enough left over then you can have
it put in to small spray cans.
