Hi All,
Talking to a chap at a local car show today and after admiring our Series 2 he told me that he had located a "Barn Find" minor in a rare Matt Black body finish.
I said that I didn't realise Matt Black was an option on the Minor but he assured me it was.....Any thoughts??

I suppose if you buy a gloss black one and don't polish it for fifty years....
I think he's pulling your leg.

Yeah I think that the original paint had died years ago and no amount of T Cut will bring it back to gloss.

I'm pretty sure the matte paint fad is much, much more recent than the Minor.

Agreed, the Americans are quite keen on flat black for their street rods.

Black itself was pretty rare. cellulose paint was never super gloss. factory matte never happened
