Continuing the theme: Did you hear about the dyslexic, atheist, insomniac who stayed awake all night wondering if there is a dog?

Dyslexia is a serious condition!
I have a friend who has joined a poetry club to see if that will help with her dyslexia.
She hasn’t come up with any poems yet but she’s made some pretty good vases and jugs

Here's something I found while sorting out my Father-in-Law's memorabilia and other stuff when he couldn't like unsupported any longer.
It's written as an official telegraph/signal; I believe it dates from his Army national service in the 1950s, it's certainly on very old paper.... is it familiar to anyone... :)

POLICE NOTICE
--------------------

A REWARD IS OFFERED FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO THE ARREST OF EDDY CURRENT , CHARGED WITH THE INDUCTION OF
AN 18 YEAR OLD COIL NAMED MILLI HENRY , WHO WAS FOUND HALF CHOKED AND ROBBED OF VALUABLE JOULES .

THE UNRECTIFIED CRIMINAL , ESCAPED FROM WESTON PRIMARY CELL WHERE HE HAD BEEN CLAMPED IN IONS. THE ESCAPE WAS PLANNED IN THREE PHASES . FIRST HE FUSED THE ELECTROLYTES , THEN HE CLIMBED THROUGH A GRID AND DESPITE THE IMPEDANCE OF THE WARDERS , FINALLY WENT TO EARTH IN A MAGNETIC FIELD . HE HAS BEEN MISSING SINCE FARADAY .
WATT SEEMS LIKELY IS THAT HE STOLE AN A.C. MOTOR , THIS BEING OF LOW CAPACITY START HE IS EXPECTED TO TRY AND CHANGE IT FOR A MEGACYCLE , THEN TO RETURN OHM BY A SHORT CIRCUIT .

WITH APOLOGIES R.E.M.E MAGAZINE.

By my count, there's over 25 electrical engineering terms/phrases running through that.

I knew we'd get a few bright sparks posting electrically related things. Stiill, I have no resistance to that, and at least it's not terminal.
