Having a coat of Waxoil over the underseal is a very good idea.

my old 55 ser 11 had been waxoiled every year by previous owner(Used waxoil with clean engine oil added to make it more spray able) he had it from new,I aquired it in 1980,and apart from an area under the heat shield, where it was difficult to get oil to ,The whole underside was untouched by a welder, even the sill sections were sound.I continued with the waxoil treatment ,but only every two or three years,I sold it in 2008 and it still was as good as the day I got it.So forget what anyone tells you a lash the oil on as thick as you can get it ,inside sections and everywhere you can get to(Don't whatever you do spray it on the seats it makes them slippery :D :D :D ).
However not sure its as good a quality as back in the day,but for me its the best I ever used.

Stand the can of Waxoil in a bucket of very hot water before you apply it The process makes it easier to brush on and goes a lot further :)

An ex-boyfriend of my daughter was watching me paint the underneath of my old Triumph herald with Waxoil "Why are you painting your car with bacon fat" he enquired. Apparently he once went into training to be a mechanic unsurprisingly he ended up selling insurance instead
