Mud flaps fitted

Post by NETTIE »

I know this is marmite to some but always wanted to fit some mudflaps to my traveller
so i went for it and i think they look ok
Also the amount of mud and crap they collect is amazing which would have been up in the arch so they are doing some good
See what you think

Very nice. There is, indeed, a lot of mud on the country lanes this time of year. Apart from wheel arches, a lot gets sprayed back onto the crossmember - no wonder rust follows if you don't keep an eye on it and keep it cleaned off.

I think it's only polite to fit them - I certainly prefer following cars with them in the wet!

Where did you obtain them? They certainly look pretty effective...

The mudflaps were purchased from esm the brackets were a long term dilemma you can no longer get the fitting brackets so you have to sort or make your own, my brackets are actually stainless steel shelf brackets off Amazon perfect size and super strong cannot bend them also they come with pre drilled holes and a fraction of the cost of originals, well worth the effort i think.
