They are just an angled plastic spacer. They echo the chromed metal one on the outside. A quick ring around the Minor specialists should find you some if yours have gone missing. I've never found anything for a Minor 1000 very problematic to get hold of. The cars are well served by parts suppliers - one of the attractions of running one :)

well i have only got to fit some seat belts , and give it a good clean, looking for a biscuit coloured set, if anybody knows the best place to buy them, or even if they are looking to sell a set, will have to make a new hole in the tunnel, as this was also replaced in the body work phase, but really pleased with how its turned out, i have really enjoyed the process, learnt a lot,and now just before the summer ( well if that turns up, so far this year in Cockermouth, perhaps restoring a boat would have been the better option)

so here are a few pics of the finished car, i went for the 2 tone interior, as i just liked it better and i thought the green helped the Old English white out, originally it was biscuit inside, and i always thought it was a bit bland, but i guess thats the whole point of a restoration, if you like it, do it

Wow. Congratulations and well done!

Your car is the same date letter as mine, "G". As I probably said before mine is March 1969.

So you went for an earlier two-tone interior. Fair enough if you like it better but it is not correct for 1969. You should also have the two-spoke "safety" steering wheel rather than the earlier banjo type.

What is the circular hole in the strengthening arch under the dashboard for? Mine has no such hole.

Any under bonnet pictures?

hi Stephen

yes i do like the two tone interior better, as i say it just gives it more of a wow feeling, i have the original steering wheel, but again i like the look of the banjo type wheel.

the hole is where there was a light switch, as it had aftermarket cibie lights on the front, so i deleted the switch and the lights, but kept the hole as it was part of the history of the car, and the panel was in perfect condition so i just left it as is, is not concourse so it didnt bother me , i had previously put some engine pics on, but i guess i can add some more

and thank you, it has been a labour of love as i have really enjoyed it, next up is a Lancia Fulvia, which i am looking forward too

It looks very nice. I hope you enjoy it!

One tiny thing that is missing is the chrome trim around the inside of the driver's side glovebox.
