Not sure if I pressed the 'submit' button, so try again. Apologies if I have double posted.
When out and about in my 1970 traveller, anything I carry in space behind rear seat is visible to all and sundry ....including low life who might be tempted to break in and steal it
Obviously I can cover items with a blanket, but wondered if someone has a better, more cosmetic solution.

You are not the first to ask this question, and you won't be the last. There is no standard solution, but wherever you find a number of Travellers parked together (cue collective noun thread) you will see a variety of solutions. Over the years I have seen (and used) variations on roller blinds, fabric with stretch wire, and hinged or slot-in hardboard.

If you google car cargo covers you will be offered a choice for other models, I think you will have to take one of those, fit a couple of brackets to slot over the back seats and arrange catches for the other end.
Could be a nice project.
You will have to measure the width of course.
