Moggy boot

Post by TOMO28B »

hi everyone, a question which has probably been asked numerous times. How do you get the wooden panels out of the boot on a saloon. I don't want to start levering them with a crowbar as they are in great nick. I need to get to the tank for some repairs, and wiring issues. Any help would be great, thanks

They are secured with countersunk machine screws, spring washers and nuts or at least they are on a 2 door. A bit fiddly but not too bad with the spare tyre out of the way. I forget how many there are per side but you just have to go all the way around. When you are sure you've found all of the screws, they can still require a bit of effort to get the panels out.
