No longer able to show an image!

How annoying - I didn't alter the signature image details in my profile yet now I find I can't display images any more! The only change I made was to add the URL of my 2nd website....

What's wrong with this - it still has the on each end?





Yet I can add an image from someone else's website! Can anyone suggest why this is?

Nothing at all, as far as I can see, and the URL works fine when cut and pasted into another browser window. Bizarre... I'll try it in my sig, and see if it works...

LATER Nope, no joy, just a line of text. I don't know what the ? indicates, p'raps it's something to do with that? I'll host the pics, so whilr they'll be there permanently, you can use them as a (hopefully) temporary solution.

I'm wondering if it's something to do with Wanadoo itself? I notice that the full address of my photo has changed since I added the pic to my signature. As soon as I amended the signature the image on it stopped showing. Weird!

Like I said, bizarre! My domains's also Wanadoo hosted, but it's working fine (see above[and below] and all of my postings for half an hour!)

Cheers Andrew, as you can see I've taken you up on your kind offer until I work this out....

Clearly it wasn't a browser issue as I posted my old image link using MS, Opera and Firefox - still no joy!

Other than Wanadoo, can anyone recommend a free website provider which I can use to post & host loads of pictures?

Chris - just delete all the spam that comes after .gif and it will work.

Thanks Ray - you were spot on! Weird how it used to work OK with all the gobbledegook after the gif.

As you can see I've taken the opportunity to change my signature pic! Thanks for all who helped with advice and hosting.

Time for new glasses Ray - it's the same car, same place (Brooklands) but the pictures were taken 464 days apart!
