Re: boot and bonnet hinge question,

You can knock the pins out by putting the hinge on the edge of a vice, then using a hammer and nail punch
I think the pins only knock out from one side only :D

Re: Disc Brakes

I used the standard minor hubs but machined them so the fiesta
disc fits onto the hub, then drilled the discs to minor stud pattern
then made a bracket to hold the caliper easy :D It only took a
couple of hours

My Morris fitted with 2l twincam FAILED it's MOT today on not having
a rubber cover on the brake pedal!! But that's not bad for car that's
only done 350 miles in a year :D And yes it's only a visual smoke test

Re: hello and im new to moggys.

Welcome karen,
I got my wheels from Demon Tweeks and were quite expensive. But you could change the stud pattern to ford
that'll give you more of a choice of wheel depends on your budget :)

Re: bleading brakes

You shouldn't have to run the engine to bleed the brakes, I've never herd of that one. Sounds it's likely to be air in the pipe that runs to the back. You should try clamping the pipe over the back axle, then bleed the front brakes. Try pedal. Then clamp off the front brakes and one of your back bra...

Hi,
I had the same problem on my Morris, Fiesta discs and Fiesta
master servo. You blead the brakes over & over and still nothin,
turned out to be a leak in the master cylinder! Answer replaced
it with a new one :D Have you tried pressurising the system!
It might help you

Aright mate, I've been following your progress on your car well done so far, not so keen on roof chop but the rest sounds great. But if your still keen on chopping then go to the Custom&Modified and look for Crazy Wing mods, my pal found it on the net . Hope this gives you some ideas :D steven 8)
