Has the modifications section been moved? I was browsing and it’s dawned on me that it’s missing.

I’ve got a Marina 1275 engine that is missing it’s tag and when I bought it, the chap said it had been missing for over 40 years (the time it had sat in his garage) and he has no paperwork for it.

What do I do?

Thinking about it, as it came from a Morris, it must of had the rear plates swapped for an mg midget, otherwise it wouldn’t have fitted the previous Morris.

Thanks for the reply Phil. It’s a standard 1275 engine and not the A plus engine. I aim to put a mini manifold and HIF carb on it and I’ll fit a large bore exhaust. Well I went for the sledgehammer solution and replaced the jet and needle in the carb, then after a suggestion about the weights in dizzy, I replaced the whole dizzy with a new electronic one. Safe to say that the car purrs like a kitten
