You could try Newton Commercial http://www.newtoncomm.co.uk/ They might have the right colour, I had the same problem with the correct colour for my Pale blue vinyl interior so I contacted Andrew Eggleton, he is ame on Ebay and he sourced me the right colour and reasonably priced aswell. Also ESM ha...

Can anybody identify this screw?
I have just taken my car out for a short drive and found this 3/4 inch long screw on the drive just behind where my car usually sits. It looks familiar but I can't think where I have seen it before, is it to set the beam on the headlights? any ideas anybody?[frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src...

Re: What Cani do about blistered and pitted chrome
With Brasso and a scouring pad and a lot of rubbing you can get get rid of most of the rust stains, just leaving the pit marks. The chrome can look reasonably presentable. Ultimately you will need to replace the chromework and yes, a lot of it is cr*p although hub caps may be available in stainless...

Good advice here Lou, I wish I had listened to you in the beginning.ASL642 wrote:If the pitting is so bad it won't clean up it's cheaper to buy second hand ones than have things replated.
Put an ad in the wanted section of this site or have a look on Ebay.

Re: What Cani do about blistered and pitted chrome
If you replace, be careful some new chrome parts are poorly plated and last very little time. Source your replacements carefully. I've had first hand experience of buying replacement chrome parts that haven't lasted 12 months.

Thank you to everyone for their help. Well the Hometune chap came and fitted new points, plugs and condenser did a diagnostic and tune up. it now goes at 180mph in fourth (only joking). It runs sweet as a nut. One thing he did point out was that the hole in the brass connector at the end of the wire ...

Re: Car Cover Queries
Like Roy's my Monsoon has perished after 18 months, the trouble is I don't have use of a garage and the water gets in around the windscreen that is why I only use the car in the summer. The Monsoon has kept the car dry and blemish free throughout the severe weather, but the outer surface has started...

Re: Problem starting / running
I managed to get the car started this morning after putting the old spark plugs back in and spraying the electrics with wet start but it was still sounding rough. I emptied the float chamber of fuel and replaced it with fuel from a can. I did notice that when I refilled the chamber it stirred up a l...

Hi Roy, There are definitely sparks from each plug as I tried them all individually against the engine block. The petrol I used was from a petrol can I use for the lawn mower and I must admit it has been in there as long as the petrol in the car. I will buy some new tomorrow and maybe try Alex's sug...

Re: Problem starting / running
Thanks Marky, Did you recognise the car from a wet 'n' windy Sheppey? It might well be the points as I tried cleaning them just before it got worse, maybe I have messed up the gap. I also read that it might be something to do with the vacuum pipe having a leak or something but that wouldn't explain ...

Problem starting / running
I have not had the opportunity to start my car since last October, when I did I found the battery flat, now fully charged. Today I thought I would reconnect the battery and see if it would start, it did but not very well. After some coaxing the engine fired but sounded rough and would not respond to...

Re: Shredded Car Cover
My Monsoon cover tore away from the elasticated skirt a while ago, rendering it unable to be repaired. It has also degraded in several places and I have used duck tape to cover these. After only having the cover for a short while I noticed the air flaps starting to split, contacted Coverzone who off...
