Re: New Morris Minor Documentary
Matt was such a good filmmaker! Really funny guy and asked all the questions somebody who cared about the car would ask.
Brucek, will be available for autographs at the national - if I'm not busy shivering in a tent with Chesney73 and a cold sausage sandwich.

Re: RIDICULOUS INSURANCE PRICES???
Well if any of you are in Leeds, you're in for a nasty shock with FJ! They have changed their underwriter rules and will now no longer insure anyone in Leeds who doesn't garage their car overnight. Thank god we're moving to a house with a garage...its still an increase from parking on the road, but ...

Re: what is this switch?
Try turning the lights on, in the dark, then use this switch...if it's the same as my car it wil turn of the dash back light. The key turning backwards, on some cars i have seen anyway, means that certain things can function with the engine off...aka a radio? I'm sure this is probably wrong but it'...

Re: Young owners at the National
For the record, I am NOT a young person, I am in my late 30's. Lies! I thought you were just over 21  Anyway, what do older people want young people to do? Sit indoors and be quiet? Nice to meet lots of people under the age of 30 who weren't intimidating, who weren't being awful and who made ...

what is this switch?
So...for those who didn't see me at the national, I have recently bought another ex-gov disabled minor (KNA 665F) who has been off the road since 1994 and passed her first MOT since '94 on Friday (first time with no money spent on her!). I've now had time to do a bit of exploring and not only does h...

Re: Young owners at the National
I also remember another rally where the neighbours complained about the noise from the party, resulting in a visit from the Police asking that the noise be kept down. Again, the rally was fantastic! : A visit from the police?! Nowadays they won't even come out for a house burglary...not here anyway!

Re: Young owners at the National
It was nice to see so many young people at the Rally and your cars - so obviously treasured. However Matt and Co - you were too bad!! Last year we camped right by the Young Owners and were mega-impressed at the camerarderie and behaviour and had no qualms at camping near this group again. What a mi...

I got my car totally wrecked by vandals not too far from this, sadly.
This is what happens when people don't fear the law or respect others. So, so sad. x

A burnt out moggy
One of our Huddersfield young members has had the worst thing happen... Last night she was woken up by the police to find her car had been wheeled away and burnt out by vandals, only witnessed by dummy CCTV cameras. As you can see, its a bit of state! It was a birthday present from her husband 6 mon...
