Re: Any Yorkshire / Leeds / Bradford Members ?

Hello Don't even bother to turn up, this car is far from the mark, especially in that price range, there are so many items not right, can't begin to imagine what the engine and underside are ike. Please remember, it would be much safer and wiser to contact either myself, as we are the official club ...

Re: filling the Gap Between Front Wing and Inner Wing

Hello

The material you describe sounds like the correct type, it was, as per last year, still available from Brown Bros or a similair type of car based product out lets. Let us know if you have difficulty tracking it down

Re: cylinder head identification help!!!!

Hello Just to throw a tad more light on the first head in your picture, the series of numbers Interprets as follows: AS3 was used by the Austin motor company and fitted into their A30 car, then know as the new 'Austin Seven'. After BMC was formed, the Morris company decided to re-code the heads with...

Re: 1098 inlet -exhaust manifold colour(s)

Hi Paul The exhaust colour should be satin black, using a good quality heat resistant paint. VHT satin black is OK as is Eastwoods Black Velvet, this is an American company and their products can be purchased through the Frost company, it is more expensive, but, if applied correct on to a good clean...

Re: Stainless Steel Exhausts

Stainless Steel exhaust are the definitive way to go. We have had them fitted to a range of vehicles for the last 20 years or so, and to date, without any problem whatsoever. Remember its the quality of the item that is conducive to its longlivity. A lot of the 'off the shelf systems ' leave a lot t...

Re: 1957 black saloon with green interior

hI Andrew These Minors only had an 18 month production run, it was to be a rather an unusal selling ploy, set out by BMC. As the real truth behind the ploy was that the factory had a surplus of green interior trim, they could not afford to scrap them, hence these Minors were shipped out to various d...
