Re: 1968 MM Pick Up Chasss Number help

The C 1874xx (missing last 2 digits) number confirms the build month & its non GPO.

Re: 1968 MM Pick Up Chasss Number help

The plate on the o/s is the BS1965 seatbelt Anchorage details. Below is 2 holes, on a '68 probably unused. Have a look down the inside of the n/s dr, sometimes you'll find the plate stuffed down there. At the top of the n/s b/head there should be a plate - long narrow thing - with 2 sets of numbers,...

1968 at the earliest I would say :x
10V engine 4/69 onwards if original to the car.

Walsall seems to be a hub of dodgy vans, so beware.

Anyone else notice chemists having "problems" with medicine suppliers?

My latest prescription was of a cheaper brand.

Could this mean the launch of the booklet !! :o
Must remember all this info I'm trying my best at making sense of was destroyed 45 odd yrs ago, FRESH & MUCH more accurate info is what's needed, this is where the benefits of knowing cab & engine nos. come in handy!!!

Number ranges for Abingdon
Thanks Russ.

According to all these Minor publications, only 50 pickups assembled at Abingdon, yet 10 still exist, doesn't make much sense!!
