I saw it earlier in the week, as I was driving into the city centre past Heartlands Hospital. It turned right at the lights towards Adderley Park.

Re: Moggies in Birmingham
Hi, I spotted your smoke grey saloon this evening, I didn't recognise the registration, but thought what a great car. I missed seeing the other car next to yours, but have seen it at Tesco's before (as Louise so rightly pointed out). Any MMOC members in the Birmingham area are welcome to come along ...

Re: amateur radio operators
The National Rally would surely be a suitable event to publicise and promote both our hobbies at the same time.
The idea of a special event station not usually being at someone's home address is that they are open to members of the public to visit.

Re: amateur radio operators
I don't want to upset your plans but have you seen this on the RSGB website about special event stations http://www.rsgb.org/specialevents/ses_callsign.php "The station may only be established and operated at one specified location. This must be the address stated on the application form which ...

Re: amateur radio operators
Good idea! You could publicise your idea via Minor Matters, Branch network, and various MMOC rallies. Of course not all radio amateurs are members of the RSGB. A special event station takes some planning to ensure you have sufficient operators, shelter, equipment and power etc available, as well as ...
