No, it could be used if it triggered when the stick is moved to the far right to engage reverse, not the actual up or down movement of the stick mabey?

Hey, here I am. Yes, lynda's had the fresh-air convertion on it aswell. You can remove the heater matrix from the clamping case in situe (after removeing the intire front parcel shelf), and then remove the clamping bars (like the springy bars that hold later dizzy caps on) which will allow the front...

Where do you get Superflex bushes from? How much for a set of 12 for the rear? All I can find is generic 'Poly-Bushes' which are usually found to be worse than the original rubbers.

Going back to regulations.... My 1949 BSA D1 Bantam has been made to have a brake light to get an MOT, even though it was not built like this originally, because the MOT guy (at a well respected motorcycle MOT place near where I live) says that it must have one to pass. I can't see this as being rig...

Get grease proof baking paper and smeer it with a thin layer of oil or rub grease onto one side of it. Home-made storage paper.

I really don't see what is such a hastle about the old type oil filters. They are easy to change and fitting a new rubber o-ring everytime is really very easy and eliminates them leaking. I find that if people rush the o-ring job or just don't bother changing them, then they're only creating more ha...

Well, the plate is held captive by a cage, but these can wear away. if you are worried, Unscrew the top one and loosen the bottom one, swing the top outwards so that you can replace the top screw to make sure you don't loose it before undoing the bottom screw fully. Replacement, with new screws, is ...
