£600 maybe, maybe not. £299+vat for a Marina based kit from ESM. All brand new, no exchange parts and off the shelf. No need to wait for a set to come up on ebay, although they do from time time and obviously a lot cheaper. It's all I run and have done for a long time before anyone mentions Servo's...

i looked at a pair of these and they didnt have particually sharp edges - and in the event of an accident probably no more dangerous than the AA badge, bonnet handle and other pertruding metal parts on the car. maybe there are different types available now. Just my two-penneth from another viewpoint!

ok, here goes...i thought my exhaust was 'blowing' but my brother has taken a look and said its the clamp where the outlet manifold meets the exhaust downpipe is where the noise is coming from & exhaust is fine - he doesnt want to attempt a repair as hes unsure whether its exhaust paste or wire ...

thank you for your reply. i have obviously tried my local garage (no help) and i do have a haynes manual but have no desire to fit an exhaust myself. i had hoped for at least one member or "administrator" could supply a reputable garage in leicestershire?
