We at the Minor LCV Register will be having a GPO PO Minor stand, some good stuff on display 2 rubber wingers, series II and 2 series Vs, obe of whihc is a driving intructor used by the Royal Mail, complete with dual controls

Juliet The numbering system is easy (see my book!!) I know you have a copy, but if yours is an Austin van then it would be AAVC followed by the 6 digits or a Morris van then for the year of yours it would be MAV5 followed by the 6 digits, hope that this helps Oh only one chassis plate left by the wa...

Do not fret, e-mail if need be..............the six figure number is correct if the van is after 1965 which i know it is the chassis plate will (or should be on the passenger door) However they normally vanish. I have some blanks

yep agreed but then the side panels etc... also need to be cut and new mounting brakets for the extended cab!

What is the problem with ther standard LCV cab?

Juliet 4 blade BMC fans were normally painted Red or Green but the standard 2 blade is yellow in the past I have used a Ford Yellow and thet seems to match OK, the pulley is also yellow Hope that this helps, but I agree with the yellow plastic multi-blade fan mentioned earlier...............they do ...

Kim as discused by e-mail, these are not original, but may well have been fitted by the dealership in Norway as I understand it is law that side indicators were a requirement. However take it off and you will find a name on it somewhere I am sure, which may well a company from Norway, Denmark or swe...

Can anyone offer advice on how to remove a piston from a brake caliper, they have been unused for a number of years and I want to replace the seals and paint before use, but need to remove the pistons, they seem solid.
