Mine was like that... adjust the torsion bar a few revolutions and it will level, that's what they do :)

I imagine it's just one of those things that follows a cyclic pattern. It gets harder and harder for the younger drivers (presumably still building careers/learning) and it will continue until nobody can afford to drive, public transport becomes oversubscribed, the unemployment rates continue to ris...

I really wouldn't discount the windscreen... I went through all of the same motions for days and due to the dryness above I had assumed it was coming from the bottom. That was until it happened whilst the car was sat for a few days. Do what I did and chuck a bucket of water over the windscreen, get ...

What's very odd about this is how similar your situation is to mine. My dad bought a moggie saloon that I then bought back and well the work i've done looks similar to yours ! I think we're situational doppelgangers :L
