A little late to the party with this one. My Nov 1950 Lowlight has vents but no water pump. However, they did have heaters. They picked up hot air from the radiator which was circulated with a fan in the car.

Does anyone know if the rocker cover on a sidevalve should be painted or was it once plated?

I know there is always much debate about authentic engine colours but what of the gearbox. I've taken my 1950 one out and the original colour is a bluey green colour. Does anyone know the colour or code for it?
