Re: Exhaust clamp

The heat shield is down where the shock damper is bolted to the firewall. Can take pic if required. I used stainless steel bolts and nuts bought at a hardware store.

Re: Series MM axle removal

I need to swap one out later this year and do not plan to remove springs. Anybody know if you can float the backing plates, so there is no need to bleed the brakes.

Re: Series MM Roof Lining Boards

John,
Totally forgot, been so busy. Seems to be approximately 58 1/2 inches in the center. Hope this helps. Like I said you really have to put a lot of force on it to push it up around the curve.
Good Luck,
Doug

Re: Series MM Roof Lining Boards

The center board has to be pushed up to take the shape of the roof curve at the back of car. It takes some force to get the edge of the board above the rear window. I used my shoulders to push it up.

Re: prop shaft/drive shaft

Paul,
Received your pm message but cannot seem to pm you back. The shaft has not been hit with a hammer. Overall condition is fair to good.
Trying to figure out how to pm you.

Re: prop shaft/drive shaft

Paul,
I have one here in Canada. It is missing the cork seal, part # 129 . I would think this could be made or purchased from Moss Motors.

side valve front engine mount bracket

Is there a right and left bracket for the side valve front engine mounts? I know the overhead has left and right brackets.
Thanks, Doug

Dynamo part

Dropped the dynamo and broke the ear off the front end cap. Does anyone have a spare they would like to sell and ship to Canada. I am just looking for the front end cap that is at the pulley end. It is a C39.
Thanks.

Re: holes in rim

Rob,
Good answer. The valve stem hole is opposite the holes and that is where the weld line is. Have never noticed these holes on any other auto rim. Maybe other manufacturers fill in the holes.
Thanks for the replies

Re: holes in rim

Rob,
Absolutely right. The valve stem hole is opposite the holes and that is where the weld is. Wonder if all rims are made this way. Have never noticed the holes any any other automobile rims. Will have to look at some other rims from different autos.
Thanks, That answers my question.

Re: holes in rim

The only reason I ask is , every mm rim I have has these two holes. I have rims from different autos that have these holes. I assume they are factory.

holes in rim

Does anyone know why there are holes at the edge of the rim. Were the for hanging during painting?
