Re: Merlin the traveller restoration
Shame DSN don't do a biscuit/beige colour carpet - the price is good for what looks like decent quality. Is the Traveller load area floor you sell a Hardura type? It's pretty good stuff really, drop me an email grant@dsnclassics.co.uk if you'd like me to send you the biscuity colours. The load area...

Re: Merlin the traveller restoration
Still debating whether to have "correct" red interior for my Maroon B Trav, or incorrect Biscuit as preferred by my wife. Your carpets look good - can you tell me who supplied these, please? Mark Biscuit would look very nice if done well! In terms of the carpet it was supplied by DSN Clas...

Re: Merlin the traveller restoration
Another long break in posts however not for lack of Minor work. Current status: Interior nearly complete, awaiting new tyres on my new powder coated wheels then MOT time. I have had lots of fun playing with my engine, after ringing it etc, fearing that I'd ruined it completely! The fault was eventua...

Re: Merlin the traveller restoration
This afternoon I plunged into the chassis leg to start the long arduous task of swapping my mast cylinder out. After a few hours toil  and too much swearing I had the old master cylinder out, I have to say I was amazed I managed it. Tomorrow I'll try get the mess in the chassis leg cleaned up ...

Re: Merlin the traveller restoration
So I have made some progress since my last post. I have correctly wired up the head lights and indicators, everything now works wonderfully (so satisfying).[frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1477860092_16479 [/frame][frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1477860104_16479 [/frame][frame] ...

Re: Left wondering!
In my opinion I think if someone wanted the car then they would enquire even without a listed price. If you want a traveller in that condition then you know you'll be paying good money.
The 6/7k + was subject to a 2 second ebay search... don't take that as a valuation aha

Re: Left wondering!
If you are genuinely interested, with proper money to spend on such a car, then you wouldn't be a time waster? However if you're just phoning because you are curious how much a lovely looking traveller is worth then you would be? Surely this topic is pretty pointless? I only say this as someone that...

Re: Merlin the traveller restoration
Thanks guys! I have been trying to fit the head lights this evening... My halogens were literally cut through and removed and not labelled (woops  ). From the O/S look i have two blue and white wires, then two red wires and a green and red. I have earthed the head light and managed to get it t...

Re: Merlin the traveller restoration
I shall get some more photos up over the next week. However I have got the brakes all fitted and bled (thanks again to Rob for his help). The rear and interior electrics seem to work okay, so far? The engine has blown up, although I think the piston rings are not what they use to be..so it might be ...

After several failed attempts at starting the fuel pump was diagnosed (Shoutout to top team member Rob & Kim for your help) A new one was purchased from work and fitted the same day, obviously![frame] http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1476220613_16479 [/frame] I had a few little problems in my ...

So since his return I have been pretty busy! I have painted/coated the inside. http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1476219767_16479 [/frame] Fitted the rear lights and even got them working first time, magic really. The front then came off. http://mmoc.org.uk/mbimage.php?src=1476219878_16479 [/frame]...

Re: Merlin the traveller restoration
SO... Before I disappeared and became Shop manager of DSN Classics I was busy trying to get some welding and panels fitted. The below shows the rear lower panel 'ready' to be fitted. I managed to tack it in place and got the wood on for fitment, just. I wasn't happen with it and soon realised I was ...

Don't use a white setting wood glue... It looks AWFUL.
A clear setting wood glue might do the trick. I have used a super glue
