Re: Need E-Bay phone number,,,,

I am sure they will help with a buyer/seller dispute! But you try telling them the way the search peramiters are set up are useless,"read no classic car part section",and they will tell you to use the next to useless filters! The problem there being it will take you god knows how long to a...

Re: New or Original?

With any of my cars,I try my very best to either restore its original parts, obtain original NOS parts,or excellent s/h original parts to use as is or restore. If after a long search, and its clear it can't be obtained,or time is not on my side, only then do I resort to buying new repro parts. I have b...

Re: Supposedly an original 1955 pick up?

If the seperate chassis has no id marks stamped on it,MAU5 etc, then its just a part of the whole, and for DVLA reasons the cab is the identity. Would be interesting to know when the work was done on it,as if it was done before a certain date, then the DVLA rules were different! Problems could arise w...

Re: Supposedly an original 1955 pick up?

That number he said is on the chassis plate, which is easily swapped,so ive asked him for the number stamped into the bulkhead, and told him where to find it.
Also asked if he knows the cab number!

So could I,and I have!

And his answer.

""Unfortunately I do not know the history of the car, however it is registered as a 1955 pickup.
I have taken down the chassis number 'OFJ11/34005'. I dont know if that helps you or not.""

Re: Traveller wood side removal?

I think almost every MM owners seen that program! Entertaining as it is,it doesnt really show you where all of the fixings are located! I can strip any car down to its last screws, nuts and bolts, but having something to refer to,can help save some time. And for those who need more help in doing it,it...
