Re: Traveller rear inertia seat belts
I'm part way through restoring my 1968 Traveller and am intending to fit new rear seat belts. At the moment I'm replacing the long, triangular N/S wheel-arch panel and was about to weld on a new mounting plate on the underside. When I started measuring up the off side to determine the location for t...

Metal gauges used in Minors
When I posted last month to ask about nut and bolts used on Minors I was directed to some very useful lists in the Mechanical section. Is there a similar list giving details of the metal thicknesses/gauges used in the Minor's panels and chassis sections or do folk follow a simple rule of one gauge f...

Re: Nuts and Bolts
Thanks Taupe, Islipminor, H Davy and Bigginger
That's exactly what I was after. It also explains why my 7/8"AF spanner was such a sloppy fit on my bumper nuts.
List duly copied and saved for future reference, I'll be referring to it quite a lot I think.
Many Thanks
Colin

Nuts and Bolts
I'm at the early stages of reviving my 1968 Traveller and am beginning to strip things down before it goes for chassis welding and I'm drawing up a shopping list. I have a good idea what panels and repair sections I'll need, it's the nuts and bolts that I'm not so sure about with the Minor having a ...

Re: Registration and Tax question
Thank you for all the advice, gents, you have been very helpful and reassuring. I'll be able to set the ball rolling in a more relaxed frame of mind. I'll give the online approach a try first, seeing as I have the buff log books it would be good to keep hold of the blue V5 if I can. Andy, there's no...

Registration and Tax question
Hi - My very first post! My Traveller has been off the road since 1995. With the arrival of retirement, thoughts are finally turning to returning it to the road and I have two questions. Prompted by another thread, I am slightly concerned that, when I try to tax (SORN) it and register a change of ow...
