Sorry to hijack your thread but i hace just started the minor up after being sat for a week or so n was having a play to getbthe timing/fueling running ok. Got it running and after about 10 mins of idling ran away with itself and had fuel running out of the overflow.

I took it apart the other day because i thought that the bearing were on there way out but it turned out to be the bush at the back for the disc upgrade. It could just be the warmer weather, colder air is denser (sp) so it has more oxygen. If the idle was set close to the limit when it was cold it could just need a tweak

Top tip - disconnect the heating on the manifold! The charge wants to be as cold as possible. Twin spark plugs?? Its got a heated mini spares inlet and a custom made stainless exhaust, not sure on the size though. As for the engine i think its standard except for the twin spark plugs i fitted about a month ago

thanks for the advise, ill try and get hold of a BDL needle and try that. I might go down and have a chat with the guys in stourbridge and see what they have to say.
