Re: Engine Removal
Not done it on a standard morris for a while, but to get the Suzuki engine out, I find it's easiest to get in on a winch undo the gearbox cross member and engine mounts and roll the car back. .....crap just burnt me toast and those were the last two bits. This forum is no good to read whilst you nee...

Hi folks. im enquiring at a custom windscreen place about a modern heated type windscreen with the clear heater matrix inside the glass for the series 2 morris minor. Escort mk2 back axle....wheels, offset etc?
Anyone got any pics of escort mk2 axle on morris showing what's wheels they've gone for so I can tell stance etc. I want just some cheap stealies off something from the scrappy to keep the project rolling, but just curious what to look for. I'd like 16" but 15" ain't too big an issue as th...

I thought nowadays the reason why most things are fwd is because it's cheaper for the manufacturer not necessarily because it's better?

Re: Type 9 to mk2 escort back axle prop shaft

That's a nice looking mog, what you runnning in it? Was your prop type 9 to escort ...

Re: Strengthened engine mounts
Yeah, I'm farming out the machining and block build, but everything else is being figured out by me, then passed around a few automotive engineering friends, before I do it! I'll open a thread when I start the build, still acquiring bits, but the ultimate goal is to try and figure a multi point inje...

Re: 2 yobs taking an unhealthy inerest in my Series MM
If its on three wheels they're gonna struggle to run off with it. Take your rotor arm out so you'll here the car turning over which could alert you. Failing that, I hate to say it but if they want it and three wheels doesn't put them off they'll have it. You've got cameras and you could invest in so...
