Taxing Car 1954
We having waited for reminder that has not arrived, thought I had better brave the local post office.... To my amazement it was so simple, Handed over my V5C, the guy scanned the bar code, he then filled out my disc and handed it over. I imagined that Tax and MOT exempt would create lots of hassle b...

Re: Broken Valve Spring
broken bits will most likley be in cam followers, so I would suggest taking covers off and looking. Remember to put back in same place you took them out of. But yes as everyone says would contact supplier, refund or replace and ask for gaskets foc, you have paid once ! Name and shame to allow others...

Re: Broken Valve Spring
The answer is yes used to do it on mini, but is more than a one person job and is much more reliable to remove head. The problem is that you have to remove rockers to get cap and collits out. Would also sugget that you might want to check valve seat if it has been running with broiken valve spring f...

Hi, How much difference is there ? 10, 20, 30, 40mm is it all the way or just at the rear of the car If you measure from the floor to the top of the wheel arch at the rear it is usually a good guide. If the floors and spring hangers have been changed then this could be a problem. I think more pictur...

As with all these things...
What happens when you wake up and start the engine
But yes when you run out of things to pull apart, clean put back to gether and you have no leaks. then it's time to get another Minor.............

Re: Rear Floor Panels
If you mean this one RP102CL then no it finishes at the vertical behind the seat which just clips the edge of the spring hanger.
I have just replaced the panel and should have done both at the same time but was scared of the amount of metal I was removing.

As long as you don't want exact colour match or your doing the whole set it's cheap, place near me has some dark red very simular to my car and its £6.00 per meter and its a meter wide. If I am passing I will t...

Head lining
Hi all
In my seemingly endless search for a head lining for my split screen (small back window) minor I have a question.
Are the bars and plywood front bar the same for all models and all years.
It may help as if I can get bars etc I will buy a new headlining.

Re: Wheel
it may seem easier to ask do your wheels have the extra hole to adjust the brakes through, and 3 little pips to locate the wheel hub cap fi so they are early type ?
I have one if you have this style.
I got a spare then the guy who I got the car from found the original so I have 2.
