Re: interesting one exhaust valve sticking open

That's a weird one Martin I'm glad that it wasn't a head gasket problem, I wonder if there is some lube that you can use to avoid the problem happening again?

Re: Exhaust clamp leak causing starting problems?

Just to throw my tuppence worth in I had a similar problem with starting where my car was difficult to start or wouldn't start and I found after checking the ignition side of things and checking leads, the fault was a 3 month old Accuspark coil lead giving poor connection to the coil. I have replace...

Re: Removing front seats in traveller

Hi Suzie, you just undo the bolt from the inside of the car that secures the two seat brackets.
The captive nuts are what the bolts screw into under the floor welded underside so just spray some wd40 into the threads when they are undone.

Re: faded indicator lens

Sometimes you can improve on the light output from your existing set up by cleaning the plastic lenses. I've used a stiff brush / old tooth brush and CIF ( or any household cleaner , there other brands available !) or toothpaste I've heard of people using as a mild abrasive. Worth a go , even if yo...

Cor. if that's how they come up after a rub down with G3, I'm off to buy some today. you could have a shave in the reflection. by the way. what have you used for the wheels? they look great too. Re: black streaks on white paintwork

My white traveller had the black streaks and I used G3 which is similar to T Cut to remove the streaks. Then a good wax coating will make it easier to wash off future marks easier.
