No it's not a shameless puff unlike you :lol: It's a honest question this is why I stopped coming on for a while The thing is I've not pushed to sell my cars as these two where in fact my wife's grandparents from Ireland so I'm going to restore these the best I can it just sent odd with the semephores

1957 minor

Hi did this year have semaphore indicators !

The two I have for sale
One is a split which does not have semaphores year 56

The full screen year 57 does have semaphores

Can anyone explain why

Yes the twisted ones work well One of my favourite tools is a Stanley knife scraper they take Stanley blades and scrape more crap of than you can shake a stick at! Cheap as well If you can get hold of a compressor this would be good For the Priming Etc I love mine and use it for everything great for...

The tools of your choice will be ok but will take you forever You really want Angle grinder with Flap disc The really aggressive wire wheels Or the aggressive 40 grit discs with backing plate Don't forget get a burning gun the ones that plumbers use apply heat to a stubborn nut and they will give in...

Nothing is ever to far gone My speciality is vw campers I'm a self taught Mechanic Refinisher Welder If you are thy way inclined there's nothing stopping you learning You can buy the flop panels in two sides rather than four My series mm is much worse than yours and I'm coming on in leaps and bounds...

Ok so what Is the most likely scenario if for instance the oil / speedo and petrol gauge is directly behind the steering wheel
When was this introduced ?

And when was it phased out in favour of the centrally located instruments?

Hi I believe mine is mm although the bonnet flash suggests series 2 The speedo and fuel gauge is in front of the steering wheel The year is 53 is this a crossover year The reason being I want to restore this to how it should be and don't want to do it to either series if that is incorrect I've looke...

The ol split needs crossmember
Full floor
Both sills both sides

And that's just for starters lol

I just want to know really where and how to brace this from folding and also if any body knows

How many pieces do the sills come as and what are their names!
